Standards and can also be customized for use in hazardous (flameproof) areas, meeting gas group classifications IIA, IIB, and IIC.
The company operates from two modern manufacturing facilities located in Ahmedabad, fully equipped with advanced, high-precision machinery to deliver superior products.

Quality Lab Testing & Virtual Performance
Over the years, Shreeji Cranes and Hoists has developed a state-of-the-art quality lab that virtually simulates real site conditions to test the final product’s performance. Every crane and hoist is tested following Total Quality Management (TQM) principles throughout the manufacturing process to ensure durability, safety, and precision.
All products are tested with a 25% overload capacity as per Indian Standards (IS). A 300-ton load testing facility is available for Crane Crabs, using advanced dynamometer technology for accurate results.
Our hoist testing setup includes cranes with various girder capacities to match different project requirements, ensuring that each hoist is thoroughly tested for both hoisting and cross-travel functions under simulated site conditions.
We provide specialized Electrical Panels for end-user and third-party inspections, offering real-time performance data during testing. A detailed instruction and operation manual is provided with every product for complete user guidance.
Quality Control Audit Methods (As per IS/ASME Standards)
- Material Testing:
All materials such as M.S. plates, bars, and structural members used in crane and hoist manufacturing are tested as per Indian Standards (IS) from certified laboratories. - Hardening & Stress Relieving Tests:
Hardening and stress-relieving processes for wheels, gearbox castings, gears, and pinions are conducted as per IS specifications through reputed vendors using induction furnace methods. - Welding Inspection:
All butt welds in tension areas undergo radiographic testing, while routine Dye Penetration (D.P.) tests are performed as per IS standards. Non-load bearing welds are visually and structurally examined for quality. - Electric Control Panel Testing:
Functional tests of electric control panels are carried out under simulated working conditions. Insulation resistance and voltage tests ensure the safety and reliability of all electrical components.
